Delivery Schedules:
VCS provides you with instant access to a variety of both static and dynamic views of Unipart's scheduled requirements. The four views and their key functions are:
Dynamic:
1) The Schedule List - is updated constantly, with new orders being added each night and then being down-dated every 15 minutes throughout the day by receipt of your Advanced Shipping Notices and the physical receipt of your deliveries at our receiving points.
2) The Download option - dumps the current data from the Schedule List in to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for easy manipulation.
Static:
3) The Full Material Schedule - is the equivalent of today's paper delivery schedule and as such doesn't change between schedule issues. This can be viewed on screen or printed out.
4) The Schedule History - this view displays summary data for all recent schedule issues.
