System Functionality

The system has three main areas of functionality:

  1. Ten(d)-to-Zero is a process where by Unipart and it's suppliers agree on the most important aspects of their business, analyse them in detail to identify areas of waste and then agree a step by step plan to eliminate the waste. The current performance level is valued at Ten and the score progressively reduces to Zero as the steps in the plan are achieved.
  2. The Supplier Performance Monitor or SPM is the area where we capture performance metrics from our main computer systems on the improvement areas identified in the TTZ plan and display them via the internet so that all parties share a common understanding of performance.
  3. The third area is centered around knowledgement. There are areas for sharing best practice and logging case studies as well as a discussion database.
